In fact, back then, and that was many years ago, I was one of the first to put online a website made in Flash, which at the time was a novelty in the computing world, where a pair of discus spawned. The whole process was commented on picture by picture. The site was, of course, called HUGODISCUS.com !! I remember receiving hundreds of visits from all over the world on the site, and perhaps for that reason the number of customers grew, and every day I had to answer dozens of emails and schedule visits to my facilities. I was a regular in some national and worldwide newsgroups, and word of my activity as a breeder spread around the world through these new technologies .

In reality, a new stage begins in my life in professional terms in the world of fish. I stop being merely a breeder in my spare time to dedicate myself exclusively to this appealing project, supported by a purely commercial side. Initially my professional life was dedicated to the family businesses and to competitive sport. From this new project on, everything was left behind and my dedication became almost exclusive to the new company HugoDiscus & companhia Lda, headquartered in Cascais.
