2/12/25 just updating with picture of my Golden in their new home. Awaiting for 3 more hopefully by end of month. 11/29/24: a final selection of 7 Golden Discus was made. As agreed, they were to ship end of November. La Paz Aquatics was extremely helpful in the importation into MIA and recommending a feeding schedule with a variety of Tropical foods. They arrived into MIA on Tuesday 11/26. By the time I got home and acclimated the fish, it was 8:30 PM when they were placed into my aquarium. NO QUARENTINE REQUIRED, these fish are wild and were taken out of the Amazon on November 2023.....they have spent a full year in quarentine under the care of professionals! Santarem Discus Plus makes double sure that these Duscus are healthy and fat BEFORE they are offered for sale! The picture you see was taken in the morning of 11/27....barely 12 hours after they were placed inside my aquarium. Oct 2024: I have been corresponding with Elaise for the purchase of several Discus, she is extremely patient, very knowledgeable and willing to accommodate my requests. A true pleasure to engage with a professional of such caliber. Thank you very much Elaise, much appreciated! Aug 2024: Sent an email to inquire about availability of their Discus in USA, received a prompt reply from Vitor Hugo. Followed with several other questions I had, and every single time a response was forthcoming. It is evident that they are very passionate about what they do, and in addition it is obvious that they sell exceptional Discus. I personally like their Cuipeua Royal.....a stunning fish all around!!
